Please join Dr. Kesha Walton for a lively conversation about resources that can help students make choices about and budget for career and life skills. Topics discussed include the difference between a career and a job, budget activities for college resources, gift ideas for transitioning out of secondary education, and life choices. Also, you will be able incorporate activities in your classroom from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) website that tie together cost of college/university calculations, potential salaries by major/job/career and students’ expected budgets for living.
Come to this engaging and interactive workshop where all participants will receive a stipend of $20 per hour attended, a certificate of completion, classroom materials, and dinner.
Stipend and Dinner provided!
